New Delhi, September 30: A 23-year-old hotel management student has claimed that she was abducted, gangraped and filmed the act by four men after taking her to three states in about a month, police said on Wednesday.
The girl, a resident of west Delhi’s Uttam Nagar, alleged that she was forcibly taken by a man whom she knew for about one-and-half years in his car from Pragati Maidan on August 31. She was in the custody of her alleged kidnappers till September 26.
The victim was doing internship in Greater Noida after completing her hotel management course from Punjab Technical University. She was staying in a hostel there and became friends with a 25-year-old man.
On August 31, according to the complainant, she was waiting for a bus in Pragati Maidan when the man came in a car and dragged her inside.
When she resisted, he allegedly beat her up and told bystanders not to interfere. He allegedly took her and locked her for two days in a friend’s residence in Kalkaji.
Then he allegedly took her to Mussorie and Rishikesh in Uttarakhand and later to Greater Noida. “She claimed she was raped by four men including her friend and they filmed the act,” the official said.
The victim claimed that she was left by her abductors at ITO on September 26 after which she approached police.
