Hot spell likely in T & AP in next two days

Hot spell is likely to prevail in Telangana and Seemandhra regions in the next 48 hours, according to the Indian Meteorological department.
In a weather bulletin, the IMD stated dry weather conditions prevailed in the two States due to weak South West monsoon increasing the day and night temperatures. While Telangana region registered 3 to 8 degrees Celsius above the normal temperature, the Seemandhra region registered three to five degrees Celsius more than the normal temperature. With this, most parts of the two States were experiencing hot winds, it added.
In the next two days, north Telangana districts Adilabad, Medak, Warangal and Andhra Pradesh districts like Kurnool, Guntur and Krishna would suffer heat-wave conditions. However, there will be sporadic rainfall accompanied by thunder in the two districts in the next 24 hours. (NSS)
