Hot spell to continue in next two days

The Meteorological Department has stated that heat wave, which was showing its impact on the State will continue in the next two days. The impact will be more on Krishna, Guntur, Prakasham and Nellore districts.

According to Met. Office, while Ongole and Rentachinthala recorded highest temperature of 45 degrees Celsius on Thursday, Nellore, Bapatla recorded 44 degrees, Nalgonda, Kavali and Tirupati 43 degrees. Vijayawada, Nandigama, Bhadrachalam, Ramagundam, Anantapur, Kadapa, Kurnool and Nandyal recorded 42 degrees. Mahbubnagar, Hanmakonda, Nizamabad, Machilipatnam registered 41 degrees temperature.
