New Delhi: It was a hot Saturday morning here with the minimum temperature recorded at 28.9 degrees Celsius, six notches above the season`s average.
According to the Met office, the maximum temperature is likely to hover around 40 degrees Celsius.
“The day ahead will remain partly cloudy with the possibility of lightening and thunderstorm,” said an official of the India Meteorological Department.
Friday`s maximum temperature settled at 40.2 degrees Celsius, two notches above the season`s average, while the minimum temperature was 28.9 degrees Celsius, six notches above the season`s average.
