Ahmedabad, September 03: Former Gujarat minister Amit Shah, arrested in the fake encounter case of Sohrabuddin Sheikh, could not appear before the court as he was in the hospital.
Sabarmati jail officials informed the special CBI court judge A Y Dave that as Shah was admitted to the city civil hospital, he cannot be presented before the court through video conferencing.
The court has now asked the jail authorities to present Shah on September 15.
