A technician of a government hospital in Haldwani was arrested for allegedly raping a 38-year-old nurse of the same facility, police said today.
The nurse filed a complaint with police that the accused barged into her house on Tuesday night and raped her while she was alone.
The accused was arrested following a complaint by the nurse, a police officer said, adding further investigations were on.
