An assistant, working at the Government Rajaji hospital here, was arrested today for allegedly demanding and taking bribe from a retired staff who wanted to secure pension, police said.
The man, working in the administrative section, had allegedly demanded Rs 10,000 from Vellaisamy who retired last
month.
ollowing Vellaisamy’s complaint, the man was arrested when he was receiving the bribe, police said.
