LB Nagar police has registered a case against hospital director who cheated a patient after collecting Rs. 15 lakh from her for kidney transplant. Inspector of police L B Nagar Mr. Kashi Vishvanath told that 60-year-old Madhav Reddy, R/O Vanasthalipuram was the patient of dialysis since 2009. He was undergoing treatment at a local hospital named Balaji Hospital.
The Director of the hospital Madhava Reddy advised her to undergo kidney transplantation to save dialysis expenditure. Mrs. Reddy paid Rs. 15 lakh to the doctor but neither the doctor did the kidney transplant nor returned the amount after which Madhuri lodged a compliant with the police.
