Telangana Director General of Police (DGP) Anurag Sharma today unveiled “Horn not OK Zone” at DGP office.
The DGP said Young Indians today launched a campaign for establishing “Horn not OK Zones” and I am happy that the DGPs office premises is one of the first one to create a ‘Horn not OK Zone’ because now noise pollution is as important as any other kind of pollution in the world. “Especially in India, we are habituated to honk at every possible opportunity, he said and hoped this will pick up and will help in establishing peace and tranquility, especially in areas of schools, hospitals, offices.
On the occasion, DIG L&O Kalpana Naik, IPS, and Initiative chair ‘HNOP’ Heena Desai were present. (NSS)
