The terror of honour killingresurfaced in Dungarpur in Rajasthan where a Rajput woman was allegedly burnt to death by her own family after she had an inter-caste marriage.
The woman came back to her in-law’s house in her village after eight years following which her family came to know about her whereabouts.
Upon locating her, they dragged her out of the house, beat her up and set her on fire after which her charred remains were quietly cremated.
An FIR has been lodged against 35 people in the case and seven people have been arrested so far. (ANI)
