Hong Kong: Hong Kong stocks plunged again at Wednesday’s open, extending the previous day’s sell-off following another dire performance on Wall Street, with energy firms falling with oil prices.
The Hang Seng Index lost 1.33 percent, or 343.49 points, to 25,496.85.
And the benchmark Shanghai Composite Index slid 0.98 percent, or 26.03 points, to 2,619.82, while the Shenzhen Composite Index, which tracks stocks on China’s second exchange, shed 1.16 percent, or 16.00 points, to 1,362.92.
