Hong Kong: Hong Kong stocks rallied at the open on Thursday, extending gains of more than one percent the previous day as traders were buoyed by another strong lead from Wall Street.
The Hang Seng Index rose 1.00 percent, or 249.06 points, to 25,228.75.
And the benchmark Shanghai Composite Index gained 0.55 percent, or 14.25 points, to 2,617.03, while the Shenzhen Composite Index, which tracks stocks on China’s second exchange, added 0.86 percent, or 11.11 points, to 1,305.33.
