Hong Kong: Hong Kong stocks fell for a third straight day on Thursday as a positive lead from Wall Street was offset by geopolitical uncertainty and nervousness ahead of key China-US trade talks.
The Hang Seng Index dipped 0.54 percent, or 168.05 points, to close at 30,942.15.
The benchmark Shanghai Composite Index lost 0.48 percent, or 15.29 points, to 3,154.28 and the Shenzhen Composite Index, which tracks stocks on China’s second exchange, lost 0.52 percent, or 9.57 points, to 1,822.70.
