Home minister Mrs. Sabitha Indira Reddy convened a review meeting along with high officials of police and reviewed the law and order situation in Telangana region. She also reviewed security arrangements in the wake of Ganesh procession, Telangana march and the bio diversity conference to begin from October 1.
The meeting assumes importance in the backdrop of government’s appeal made to Telangana JAC to postpone Telangana march since JAC has announced conduct of Telangana march without permission.
Home minister has directed the officials that there should be no lapse in security arrangements.
