On the occasion of Raksha Bandhan festival, Home Minister P. Sabitha Indra Reddy on Thursday tied a Rakhi to her brother Konda Lakshmikanth Reddy, president of RBVRR hostel.
Reciprocating the gesture, Lakshmikanth Reddy presented to the Home Minister Rs one lakh as a gift. In turn, the Home Minister paid the amount towards deposit to award a gold medal to passing out best DSP officer APPA, every year with the accrued interest. (NSS)
