State home minister Sabita Indira Reddy has advised Muslim leaders of Congress not to visit Tandur and assured that the victims will be given compensation from the party and the government.
Chief minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy had urged the elected and nominated Muslim leaders of Congress to visit Tandur and meet the victims however after getting pressure from police state home minister Sabita Indira Reddy advised Muslim leaders to postpone their visit till Ganesh festival.
Congress MLC Mohammed Farooq Husain called on home minister. The later told him that situation is normal in Tandur but in view of Ganesh festival leaders of every party are being stopped from visiting the place.
