Hyderabad: As the atmosphere was foggy this morning, some people on the roads were injured in accidents in Ranga Reddy. The people were proceeding to their native places to celebrate Sankranthi festival. The Indian Meteorological Departments (IMD) said the fog conditions will remain for the next four to five days.
Cyberabad Police Commissioner C V Sajjanar, IPS, appealed to the people to travel after 8 am due to thick fog and biting cold. He advised the people to avoid traveling in the night or early hours of the day. Sajjanar issued the appeal to people intending to travel to their native places to start only after 8 am after noticing heavy vehicular rush on the highways. He advised the people to plan their journey during the day time to avoid ‘fog’ related incidents.
