Mumbai, March 19: Actor Abhishek Bachchan’s going to be super busy shooting for Players this time around for Holi. However that’s not keeping the star from making plans to celebrate the festival — post the wrap up of the film shoot — with good friends Sikander, who is also acting alongside him in the Abbas Mustan action thriller.
However interestingly, what the star doesn’t know is that the director duo, despite a tight schedule, is planning to give the unit a holiday on Sunday, though the unit hasn’t been informed yet. An insider adds, “This is obviously going to thrill the cast and crew.”
Well, we can’t say about the rest of them, but Abhishek for sure will be maha thrilled to be able to take a day off and celebrate Holi with friends, family and of course wife Aishwarya Rai. Holi after all is the star’s fave festival. The actor confirms, “I love Holi and yes, it is my favourite festival for sure.”
Recalling his earliest Holi bashes, he says rather excitedly, “Holi always brings back some amazing memories. It was always such a huge event at home and to get to see all your loved ones in different shades of colours was always fun.”
It’s still as much fun for the actor, who adds, “Now celebrating it with Aishwarya makes it all the more special for me.”
Apparently the famed Bachchan Holi bash will be a low-key event this year, but Abhishek doesn’t elaborate. “Well, as of now, we’re just planning to have a get-together later in the evening. Nothing’s on as of now,” he smiles.
