New Delhi: On the occasion of Holi, the Delhi Transport Corporation (DTC) will begin its services at 2 pm today and the metro services can be availed by the public at 2:30 pm.
Only 866 buses will be operated in the afternoon service, since the traffic load will be very less today.
DTC has issued instructions to its drivers, conductors and traffic supervisory staff to avoid incidents of eve-teasing in the buses during Holi festival today.
In case of any such incident, drivers and conductors have been instructed to take the bus to the nearest Police Station or PCR van.
The services of Delhi Metro, including services on the Airport Express Line, will begin from 2.30 pm today on account of Holi.
Delhi Metro Rail Corporation said in a statement that services across the six corridors will continue normally thereafter.
