Melbourne: West Indies captain Jason Holder has insisted that his side are very upbeat about the upcoming three-match series against Australia despite suffering a humiliating 10-wicket loss to CA XI in their warm-up game.
Holder asserted that West Indies would be able to bring down the mighty Australians if they manage to execute their plans successfully, News.com.au reported.
The 24-year-old, who claimed 4-76 and scored a second innings 65 at Allan Border Field, called on his side to be more consistent and said that they are expecting the Australians to come out fiercely in the series opener.
West Indies will take on Australia in the first Test in Hobart starting on Thursday. (ANI)
