New Delhi [India]: Additional Deputy Commissioner of Delhi Police, North-West District, confirmed the arrest of a hoax caller who had threatened to carry out a bomb blast in Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s election rally in Mou, Uttar Pradesh.
The accused, identified as Deepak, from Azamgarh, Uttar Pradesh, is currently residing at N-22, B-83, Kaushal Puri, Azadpur, Delhi.
While investigation was underway, the Police took possession of two SIM cards and a Samsung mobile phone from him.
Deepak is a BA student at the School of Open Learning. He had earlier pursued his ITI from CB Raman Institute, Dheerpur, Delhi.
Earlier today, Delhi police control room received a hoax PCR call at 12.41PM stating that a bomb was going to blast in Prime Minister Modi’s Mou rally. Subsequently, enquiries were carried out by the police, which then led to Deepak’s conviction in the case. (ANI)
