There was a mild tension at Secunderabad railway station following a bomb call in the afternoon on Sunday.
An unknown caller informed police that a bomb was planted at platform number three inside the railway station and it may go off any time.
Immediately after receiving the call, security personnel with bomb and dog squads reached the busiest Secunderabad railway station and conducted thorough searches, police said adding that it was a hoax call.
Police said on the basis of the call data the caller was identified as Ballaiah who belonged to Shankarpalli in Rangareddy district.
However, police said the caller was identified on the basis of call data and he is yet to be arrested. (NSS)
