The Hyderabad Metropolitan Water Supply and Sewerage Board (HMWSSB) has released Mobile APP for consumer services on Android Platform on September 10th, more than 10,000 consumers have downloaded and more than 1500 complaints received through the mobile APP till today.
In order to provide this facility to HMWSSB consumers, who use IOS phone. HMWSSB decided to provide following services through IOS platform: Tanker Booking, Water supply and Sewerage Complaints registering, Bill alerts, payment due alerts and payment of water bills through mobile app
To avail this facility, all HMWSSB customers are requested to download HMWSSB Mobile App from “App store” in iPhones by searching with HMWSSB name and select Consumer APP.
To access HMWSSB services through mobile APP Consumers has to register their mobile number against their Consumer Account Number (CAN) HMWSSB. On registration a One Time Password (OTP) will be sent to consumer’s registered mobile number for authentication, after successful login consumers can avail the above services.
The above services can be availed by the consumers who have registered their mobile numbers with HMWSSB only. They can register their mobile numbers against their CAN by visiting www.hyderabadwater.gov.in under consumer services. (INN)
