HMWSSB gears up to meet 100-day Action Plan challenge

Hyderabad, January 20: Officials of the Hyderabad Metropolitan Water Supply and Sewerage Board will be conducting meetings with MLAs, Corporators, consumers and Resident Welfare Board Associations from January 20 till March 10, 2011 in all the ten circles of the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation.

The meetings will be part of the 100-day Action Plan launched by the state government to take up development works in the GHMC areas.

The special officers appointed by the HMWSSB will meet the Legislators, consumers and Welfare Board Associations and try to redress complaints such as low water supply pressure, polluted water supply, missing manhole covers, water supply leakages and any billing disputes and for increasing revenue by billing collections.

After the meetings, the special officers will have to submit the Minutes of the meeting to the Director (Operations) along with Action taken report regarding each meeting conducted section wise.
