Hyderabad Metro Rail MD NVS Reddy today inspected the ongoing construction work of the Government High school being built by HMR at Chaderghat. During the inspection, Reddy advised HMR engineers on various aspects of construction like quality, amenities, finishing touches and other critical areas.
Speaking to media persons later, NVS Reddy said the school complex was being built in 40,000 sq. ft. at an estimated cost of Rs 5.5 crore. He also said the construction was going on as per the high HMR standards and similar to the Government High School constructed by Hyderabad Metro Rail at Kukatpally last year. Once completed, the Government High School complex at Chaderghat will be one of the best school complexes in the twin cities and will be better than even corporate school buildings, he added.
The HMR chief said the complex will have four floors and the four schools would be imparting English and Telugu medium education. The new school complex will be ready for inauguration in the next few weeks, he said.
