The Draft Metropolitan Development Plan-2031 for Hyderabad Metropolitan Region has been on display in the office of HMDA Tarnaka and its four Zonal Offices,viz., Ghatkesar, Medchal, Shankerpally and Shamshabad, and also in Municipality offices of Sangareddy and Bhongir since June 22 last year. The Draft Plan may also be viewed in HMDA website www.hmda.gov.in in which the gist of the report, Zoning and Development Promotion Regulations, Highlights of DMDP-2031 may be viewed in English, Telugu and Urdu also, in addition to mandal- wise existing and proposed land use maps.
A DVD consisting of 1:25,000 Mandal wise maps -35 Mandals (30 sheets); 1:100,000 Proposed Land Use Map of Draft Metropolitan Development Plan-2031; Zoning and Development Promotion Regulations (English & Telugu); Executive Summary of the report (English & Telugu); Public notifications for objections and suggestions (English & Telugu), is on sale in Tarnaka office for Rs.200/- and the Urdu version of the report and Zoning and Development Promotion Regulations, in hard copy, is also on sale for Rs.100/- only.
Hence public, NGO’s, Government Departments and all other stake holder Departments are advised to avail the opportunity of filing objections and suggestions on DMDP-2031 on or before 31.03.2012 which is the last date of receiving objections and suggestions. The objections and suggestions should be addressed to Metropolitan Commissioner, HMDA. (NSS)
