‘Hitman’ Hatton says Amir Khan stands ‘good chance’ of beating Mayweather than Pacquiao

Former British boxer Ricky Hatton believes that his compatriot Amir Khan would stand a better chance of trouncing unbeaten US champion Floyd Mayweather than Filipino boxer-turned-politician Manny Pacquiao.

Pacquiao and Mayweather would face each other in the ‘fight of the century’ bout in Las Vegas on May 2 in the MGM Grand.

The hitman believes that the American would run a mile from Amir Khan as the latter is certainly quick enough with fast hands and feet to beat Mayweather, the Mirror reported.

Hatton also said that Amir, the British two-time world champion, has got the style to cause the American enough problems.

However, Hatton has described Mayweather as a ‘complete fighter’ ahead of the much-anticipated bout as he believes the American has a very good defensive style. (ANI)
