Vijayawada: A 19-year-old man was left to die with severe head injuries after Chilkaluripet MLA Vidadala Rajini’s car hit his bike in Guntur District yesterday.
Shockingly the victim identified as M Naveen(19) was knocked unconscious bleeding after the accident but the instead of rushing him to a hospital the MLA left with her gunmen to participate in the Speaker’s election, TOI reports.
Had the locals did not arrive on time and rushed him to a hospital, the victim would have lost his life.
As soon as the Mangalagiri rural cops received the information from the MLA’s staff they rushed to the spot and were asked to attend the victim in the hospital whose condition is reported to be critical.
A case has been registered against the MLA’s driver added the Police.
When attempts were made to contact MLA Rajini she did not answer the call.
