Hyderabad, October 09: A notorious history-sheeter was nabbed on Thursday and two kilo ganja and a dagger were recovered from him. The history-sheeter Bilal bin Omer alias Bilal, a resident of Baba Nagar, is a close associate of Ayub Khan. Task Force sleuths, who were conducting a routine check at Peeli Dargah in Chandrayangutta, nabbed Bilal when he tried to flee after seeing the police.
According to police, Bilal was procuring ganja from an unidentified person from Warangal and supplying it to customers in the city. “Two days back he went to Warangal to procure ganja and returned to the city on Thursday. While he was going to his house in an auto he saw checking going on at Peeli Dargah and jumped from the auto and tried to run away. He was chased and caught,” Task Force Additional DCP M Ravindranath Babu said.
Bilal was reportedly involved in three murder cases, two attempt to murder cases and three Arms Act cases.
