The Role:
SENIOR ELV/ICT DESIGN ENGINEER – DUBAI
Energi People have been appointed by a global leading engineering consultancy to source for them, an experienced and dynamic ELV/ICT Design Engineer, with 15+ years of experience to join the building services design team located in the heart of Dubai.
The engineer I am looking for is a specialized ELV / ICT Design engineer who has a sound knowledge of the active design, which MUST include active components (networking).
The company concerned have a superb reputation globally for delivering world class sustainable engineering design solutions to some of the most iconic projects on the globe. They have been established within the Middle East for over 30 years, so you can imagine how good their project portfolio is! Projects will vary from data centres, command centres, airports, health care, high rise, residential and commercial to name a few. KEY REQUIREMENTS:
– Possess technical knowledge of ELV/ICT systems design (15+ years)
– Extensive experience and a "guru" at designing ELV/ICT SYSTEMS, along with sound knowledge in Security system, CCTV, Access Control, Structured cabling, Active components (Networking), IP PBX and IP Telephony system, Public address (Paging) and Voice Evacuation System, ANPR, UVSS, IP Intercom, CO system, High sensitivity Smoke Detection, Video Wall, Gate Barrier, Bollard, Blocker, Intrusion Detection, Digital signage, Fire Telephone, Video Smoke Management System, Master clock system, FIDS, Fire alarm, PLC and SCADA.
– Well versed with TCP/IP Ethernet networking using UTP and fiber optic.
– Knowledge in Integration of ELV system & Building management system (BMS).
– Knowledge of Data Center active design.
– Knowledge Central Command Center active design.
– Degree in Electrical / Building Services Design
– Proven track record working for large international consultancies
– Middle East experience is essential.
