The Role
This is an exceptional opportunity to apply your Risk Management skills on one of UAE’s most prestigious iconic projects. CH2M have partnered up to form a joint venture that is leading all real estate and construction delivery related Programme Management services for a major exhibition.
It will be the first time that such an exhibition will be hosted in the Middle East, North Africa and South Asia Region and it is expected to be a significant catalyst for growth for business across the wider region.
As a Risk Manager you will be focused on ensuring that all projects undertake risk management activities in line with the approved risk management plan for the Programme. The role will provide direct support to the project teams, managing project risk review cycles and project risk register updates.
You will act as the functional administrator of the PMC’s Risk Management Information System (RiskHive), organizing meetings and managing invitations, production of records of meetings and risk reports. The role will include data analytical work to support data trending and quantitative risk analysis.
Reporting to the Risk Director your primary duties will be to:-
Manage the Programme’s Project Quarterly Risk Workshop programme including pre-workshop planning against the risk calendar, coordinating delegates and meeting room availability, to set workshop dates
Organise and facilitate monthly risk register updates with project managers and quality assurance teams, ensuring RiskHive is updated prior to monthly reports
Work with Project Managers to identify, analyse and evaluate priority risks
Produce risk management information reports and dashboards, ensuring integrity of data before conducting any analytical work and writing supporting commentary
Manage and lead meetings with project risk managers and risk champions
Process project programme P6 files for schedule QRA, run Primavera Risk Analysis software and liaise with PMC schedulers to review outputs and requirements for further iterations
Deliver risk management training, working with the PMC training team
Requirements
As a successful candidate, you will be degree qualified in an engineering or risk management discipline. You will possess at least 8 years professional experience, of which 4 years will have been in a project risk management environment covering project delivery within either Civil Engineering, Real Estate Development, Infrastructure or Utilities.
You will be experienced in facilitating Risk Workshops and will be highly conversant with Risk Management Information Systems (i.e. RiskHive, ARM, Predict!, MetricStream)
Preffered qualifications:
Primavera P6 and/or Primavera Risk Analysis experience is advantageous. Discipline specific professional registration is also preferred i.e. PMP, PMI, IRM
