Role:

Reporting to the Business Risk Leader (BRL) of Consulting practice, the jobholder will help to monitor and maintain adherence to Quality and Risk Management (QRM) program and support the business in applying these procedures to prospective business opportunities and engagements. This includes providing support in client/engagement acceptance, proposal risk consultations, contracting, delivery and closure.

Specifically:

• Assistance and advice regarding risk management processes, from opportunity through to engagement
• Development and maintenance and implementation of QRM policies and procedures.
• Process improvement where possible
• Manage QRM resources to conduct compliance and independence testing and in all other BAU activities
• Contract reviews and risk management consultations
• Analysis of laws and regulations that may impact the Consulting businesses and services
• Building strong networks with the Consulting Leadership team and wider stakeholder group
• Ownership of the quality assurance process
• Calculation of QRM Metrics and KPIs, analysis of the data to identify trends and provide value added feedback to the business
• Leading the training and communications agenda
• Oversight of the Consulting engagement portfolio and reporting to the Consulting and QRM leadership on key risks and issues
• Monitoring of violations to QRM policy and providing support and further training to practitioners where required
• Liaising with the finance, HR and other operations support staff to gather relevant
• Maintenance and project manage further improvements to QRM digital solutions (including SharePoint)
• Enable a strong sense of risk management and accountability at all grades
• Delivery of internal training and involvement in practice reviews

Requirements:

• Bachelor degree
• 5-7 years relevant experience preferably in in Big 4 accountants or reputable law firms
• Knowledge and experience in quality, risk and regulatory matters.
