– Design applications or subsystems on major projects
– Works under minimal direction to develop and unit-test code as per design documentation
– Performs independent and complex technical analysis for multiple projects supporting several initiatives
– Convert business needs into comprehensive functional and/or technical solutions
– Uses Object Oriented Methodology (OOM) to design
– Understands continuous integration and uses the defined process for it
– Estimates units of work
– Works across peer groups to resolve technical / design issues
– Understands working in waterfall and agile project methodologies
– Assist with release management responsibilities – supporting implementation and builds
– Work with production support staff and business to resolve production issues
