The Role
We are urgently looking for a Construction Manager with experience in Dewatering project or Groundwater engineering for a major client in Oman.
Have working knowledge of and experience in water pump and pipeline systems for dewatering, overpumping and emergency flood situations

Understanding of and experience in electrical, mechanical and pipefitting skills to guide teams for installation and operation of pumping systems
Main responsabilités and activités.
Implement procedures and practices for the safety of employees, safe handling of tools and safe execution of work for zero incidents or accidents
–
Ensure all employees are competent to perform their day to day activities and review skills basis and levels for improvement where required
–
Ensure that all sites are working to safe conditions and all staff are client inducted; liaise with client H&S and environmental personnel
–
Oversee project and site operations and communicate regularly with Site Supervisors
–
Understand and implement project scope, timeline, budget, contract, and terms and conditions of proposed works including but not limited to Method Statements, Detailed Designs and Drawings
–
Ensure Site Supervisors are performing as per Scope, agreed terms & conditions and Method Statement of the project
–
Build excellent communication with site teams for effective operations
–
Communicate progress with all Client site personnel and management and manage any disputes
–
Attend site meetings as Company representative and close relevant points as per meeting objectives and minutes
–
Submit monthly invoices and follow up for payment
–
Maintain all necessary documents, records and notes for successful project delivery
–
Achieve and maintain the overall performance of sites and to implement decisions on retention and shifting of manpower
–
Oversee all site works and communicate to Country Manager
–

Requirements
Diploma / Trade Certificate
