The Role
We are looking for Android Developers with commercial experience working on consumer apps. You will be responsible for using cutting edge technologies to deliver key product features that a million monthly active shoppers use. The consumer shift to apps is happening right now. Be part of the app revolution in retail. The ideal candidate for this role has an eye for design and is passionate about building apps that act fast, don’t crash and look beautiful
Requirements
Minimum 4 – 6 years of relevant experience in native Android development
You’re fluent in Arabic and English
Should have good understanding on Android Mobile Development Lifecylce
Experience writing clean, maintainable, easy-to-test code using Java.
Proficient in Android Studio, Android SDK and Google compatible libraries.
At least one app published in the Google Play Store.
Experience working closely with designers, and having an eye for design is super helpful.
Experience in collaborating with clients or product owners using an agile process
You have strong programming knowledge of Java, XML, targeting different resolutions
You should have knowledge in Web Services / REST API’s / JSON Parsing
Experience in integration with automation tools – Appium, Sikuli
You must have exposure to Agile delivery methodologies
Excellent English communication skills, both verbal and written
Ability to think critically and solve problems with well thought out solutions
Problem solving with a high level of self-motivation and initiatives, and you are an excellent team player
