BULADSHAHR: Activists of Hindu Yuva Vahini allegedly damaged a masjid and climbed atop of a mosque’s minaret to raised Indian flag while profusely chanting “Vande Matram and Hindustan Zindabad, Pakistan Murdabad” slogans.
The incident happed on Friday in Adauli of Uttar Pradesh’s Bulandshahr district.
The right-wing Hindu Yuvani Vahini is a militant Hindutva organization founded by UP Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath.
According to media reports, a dead cow found in the field spread in the Adauli village. Soon the rumours reached the right-wing group who gathered and went on rampage.
The villagers told that the activists of the Hindu Yuva Vahini targeted Muslims and made desperate attempts to damage the their religious places (mosques).
In another the video, two men were seen on atop of the mosque’s minaret to hoist a tricolour flag while a group of men were chanting Vande Matram and Hindustan Zindabad, Pakistan Murdabad slogans.

Heavy police force has been deployed in the area after the situation turned tense. Senior police officer also reached the spot to control the situation.
Muslims offered the Friday afternoon (Zuhr) prayers under police supervision. The body of the cow has been sent to the post-mortem.
