Telangana Home Minister Nayani Narasimha Reddy on Tuesday informed the State Legislative Assembly that the proposal to enhance the ex-gratia to the families of police personnel who lost their lives on duty is under consideration.
Replying to a question raised by MLA Ch Laxma Reddy and others during Question Hour, the minister said that the government was also considering making the post of Sub-Inspector as Gazetted. Further, the proposal to award Telangana medals to the police personnel is also under consideration, he said. (INN)
