Srinagar, September 10: A highly decomposed body of a woman, who went missing for over eight months was fished out from a river in Leh district of frontier Ladakh region today, a police spokesman said.
The body of Chuskit Dolma, wife of Stanzin Chuknes, was recovered from Indus river near Lhardo in Leh, 434 kilometres from here, the spokesman said adding that Dolma was missing since January 31.
A case was registered after the recovery of the body and investigations are on to ascertain the cause of her death, the spokesman said.
