Pune Police social service wing on Monday raided a flat in the posh Gloriosa Society in Vadgavsheri locality and busted a sex racket with the arrest of three girls and three pimps.
Two of the girls were minors and hailed from Kolkata and Bangladesh, while the third a model from Haryana has worked in a TV serial and has done jewellery ads.
The three pimps arrested are: Tushar Patil, Haridas Sheorey and Prakash Waghmare. Tushar Patil was charged in another sex racket involving a female pimp Kalyani Deshpande three months ago, but had gone underground, said Manohar Joshi, inspector, Deccan police station.
