Mr. Tariq Anwer MP (Rajya Sabha) asked union minister Kapil Sibbal why the central government has maintained meaningful silence over the rampant irregularities in Maulana Azad University.
He told that irregularities are prevalent in recruitments of professors, and assistant professors and appointments of non Urdu speaking persons have been made. An action committee against these irregularities has also been formed which staged a dharna against irregularities in MANUU. Despite all these realities the Central government’s silent seems meaningful.
He demanded high level probe into all the irregularities prevailing in Maulana Azad National Urdu University (MANUU).
