Hyderabad, August 04: The Andhra Pradesh High Court today reserved orders after hearing arguments for the last four days on the writ petitions filed by the Andhra Pradesh Minister P Shankar Rao and two others who sought a CBI probe into alleged disproportionate wealth of YSR Congress Party president Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy.
The CBI which was asked to hold a preliminary inquiry on July 12,had submitted the report last week and the final one on August 1 in a sealed cover. A division bench consisting of Chief Justice Nissar Ahmed Kakru and Justice Vilas V Afzalpurka would pronounce the orders soon whether the petitioner s contention on Mr Jagan s assets was true or not. Earlier, the Chief Justice opened the sealed cover containing the 125 page CBI report before hearing the arguments from the counsel of Mr Jagan. The petioners submitted that Mr Jagan had committed irrregularities while inviting investments into companies floated by him.
