Hyderabad: Telangana High Court asked TS Govt. if the RTC strike is unlawful. A report should be submitted specifying how it is illegal.
Filling an affidavit in the High Court of Telangana, Govt. of TS took a stand that it had invited the RTC employees for negotiations but they were not prepared if the issue of merger of RTC with the Govt. is not on the agenda.
The hearing was adjourned for Tuesday, 29th October. High Court also expressed wrath as the Advocate General was not present in the court. The court directed him to be present in the court whenever this case is being heard.
Advocate General in a statement submitted to the court informed that RTC has only Rs. 10 crore and RTC is incurring huge losses due to strike.
High Court expressed its irritation for not taking appropriate steps to end the strike.
HC ordered that negotiations could be started postponing the issue of merger for the second phase of talks.
