Police on Wednesday night went on high alert in Hyderabad, Tirupati, Visakhapatnam and other major towns in Andhra Pradesh following low density blasts in Pune.
Police tightened security at railway and bus stations, markets, historical, religious and public places and started checking vehicles at various points in the twin cities of Hyderabad and Secunderabad.
Policemen were seen patrolling the streets and keeping a tight vigil at the historic Charminar and shopping places pathergatti madina building due to many of came hyderabad for ramzan shopping.
