As a part of high alert across the Telangana region in the wake of encounter deaths of five terrorist undertrials, the police on Wednesday morning conducted intensive search operations in Secunderabad Railway Station.
The Railway Police Force (RPF) took into custody a few suspects and sent them to the nearby police station for questioning. The police beefed up security measures and deployed personnel at vulnerable parts in the city. Earlier in March end, two SIMI terrorists were killed in an encounter and the police suspect a few more terrorists might be hiding in the State capital. All check-posts have been beefed up. (NSS)
