Hyderabad, May 31: (Siasat News) Hyderabad Police apprehended two gangs who were promising to the students medical seats in the EAMCET Examination through suspicious method by using Blue Tooth enabled mobile phones.
Additional commissioner of police Tirumala Rao addressing a Press Conference here said in detailed about the modus operandi of the two gangs. The first gang consisted to Jana Bhaskar, 29 of Nellore district and Hari prasad reddy 32, of chittoor, and three others.
Jana reddy passed MBBS exam in 2008 from the Narayana Medical College, Nellore, he formed this gang along with gangadar reddy. They had been looting the innocent students and their parents by the fraudulent means.
They specially prepared a vest to keep the Bluetooth equipment connected to mini wireless ear phones there by connecting the Blue Tooth to a mobile phone with a sim card.
The student had to conceal the phone in his innerwear. The phone would remain switched on during the examination. Some experts would give answers to the questions from outside through cell phone. Police arrested the first gang member when they were trying to lure candidates and recovered from them Blue Tooth software, 5 vests, Mini wireless sets, Mobile Phones and several sim cards.
The kingpin of the other gang was danjay singh, a student of MBBS second year. He hailed from bihar. His gang members were sanjeev kumar, chandra mohand and tauqeer they were cheating students and their parents by supply them with false question paper in the name of the copy of the original question paper.
They were collecting large amount from the parents. The police arrested them and recovered Rs. 4 lakh, a lap top and 7 mobile phones.
