Washington: A 7-year-old police dog was killed during a raid on the terrorist cell linked to horrific Paris attacks.
Diesel, the Belgian Shepherd, had been sent into an apartment in the suburbs of Paris to sniff out booby traps where the raid took place. Reportedly he was killed by a suicide bomber, TMZ reports.
It did not take much time for the news of the heroic dog to spread on the social media. People started tweeting out with the hashtag ‘#JeSuisChien,’ which means ‘I am a dog.’
During the heartbreaking incident, five other officers were also injured. (ANI)
