Emma Stone has explained why she turned down a lead role in the all-female ‘Ghostbusters’ reboot.
The 26-year-old actress, who found the script “really funny,” said that the timing sadly was not right, the Independent reported.
The ‘Amazing Spider-Man’ star added that a franchise is a big commitment and she thinks maybe she needs a minute before she dives back into that water.
The news that she had passed up ‘ Ghostbusters’ broke during the Sony Pictures hack when a string of private emails were leaked. (ANI)
