Washington D.C., Sept. 23 : Anne Hathaway, who rose to fame with her film ‘ The Princess Diaries’ recently spilt the beans on why it was hard for her to get serious roles after the comedy film.
In a recent interview, the 32-year-old actress said she had a tough time being taken seriously in tinseltown, and added that she could do one of Robert Rodriguez’s flicks, Us magazine reports.
The ‘Les Miserables’ actress added, “It was hard to get into rooms to be taken seriously for roles that weren’t princesses.”
Hathaway had starred in the role of Mia Thermopolis in the comedy film, which also stars Julie Andrews, Heather Matarazzo and Mandy Moore among others. (ANI)
