New Delhi: The Rock on Wednesday took to his Instagram handle to inform fans when the trailer for his new film ‘Hobbs – Shaw’ will finally be out.
The former WWE supertsar posted a video announcing the same, stating that the trailer to the ‘Fast & Furious’ spin-off will be released on Friday, February 1.
The video shows shutters to a garage being drawn up and inside one gets a glimpse of The Rock standing in front of a car. It then moves on to show the caption ‘Trailer Friday’.
The Rock captioned the post, ““I’m what ya call a nice cold can of whup ass” ~ Luke Hobbs. The action film which is being directed by David Leitch and has been written by Chris Morgan is a spin-off from The Fast and the Furious series featuring two characters, Luke Hobbs and Deckard Shaw in the lead roles.
The film also stars Idris Elba, Vanessa Kirby, Roman Reigns, Eiza Gonzalez, Eddie Marsan, Cliff Curtis and Helen Mirren.
The film is scheduled to release on August 2, with the ninth installment of ‘Fast Furious’ franchise arriving a year later.
