It must be recalled that in May 2014, poor Muslims were attacked by miscreants in Arsh Mahal area of Kishanbagh. Muslims suffered great damages during the attack. 8 houses were set ablaze and several people were injured. To help the riot victims Faiz-e-Aam trust at the behest of Siasat editor distributed ₹ 6.4 lakh on a single day. Besides that the Trust helped a woman named Parveen and others in setting up their businesses.
This time Faiz-e-Aam trust helped one named Fayyaz build his house. A room was constructed for him with the cost of ₹ 50 thousand. The room was handed over to Fayyaz and his wife. Fayyaz a father of 3 had requested to provide him concrete shelter. On the occasion Mr. Iftekhar Husain announced to bear educational expenses of Fayyaz’s three children.
On the occasion Siasat editor Mr. Zahed Ali Khan urged Muslims to combat poverty, diseases, unemployment, prejudice and communalism with education.
